Most ski apps show you a map and a number. Piste shows you the shape of the day. Each run becomes a profile of elevation and speed, so you can see where the descent started, where the flats slowed you down, and which section you were riding fastest when it mattered.
The summary screen is built for a quick read after a long day. Duration, distance, vertical drop, and top speed sit in a single card, with the run list just below. Tapping any run switches to a detail view where elevation and speed share the same horizontal axis, so the two curves line up and tell one story.
The hardest part was keeping the charts honest on a phone. Long runs produce thousands of data points, and smoothing them too aggressively hides the steep sections people care about most. The current version keeps the raw shape and only simplifies it when zoomed out.
