Focus
2026

Research tools tend to pile everything onto one screen. Focus separates the work into tabs so each fund page has room to breathe. Key data, performance, allocation, and risk each get their own view, and the fund header stays fixed so the basics never disappear while you scroll.
The performance view combines a price chart with two ways to read the past. A return table gives exact yearly figures, and a heatmap shows the pattern month by month, which makes a bad year easier to spot at a glance. Both use the same green and red, so colour carries meaning instead of decoration.
Dark mode was a deliberate choice for long sessions. The surfaces are close in value, so the design relies on a few stepped layers, a single orange accent for actions, and restrained borders. Most of the work went into making the red and green readable without glowing on a black background.
